Two autistic roommates, Dirk and Trevor, are quarantining in their tiny Ann Arbor apartment when they find out their landlord has illegally raised their rent in the early days of the pandemic. Broke, unemployed, desperate, the two friends come to the only logical conclusion: to pay the rent, they’ll steal a valuable pinball machine from an old high school classmate. The planning of the scheme brings up deep insecurities and painful memories from their past, testing their friendship to the breaking point.
